Call for Papers—Evidence-Based Public Policy: Design, Implementation, and Legal-Governance Alignment in Global and National Contexts
Public policy is the cornerstone of effective governance, translating societal needs into actionable solutions—yet its success depends on tight alignment with legal frameworks and institutional capacity, two core pillars of the Journal of Global Law, Governance and Public Policy (JGLGPP). In an era of complex societal challenges (from public service delivery to regulatory reform, anti-corruption to social equity), evidence-based policy design, legal compliance, and adaptive implementation have become critical to addressing governance gaps. Research that explores how public policy interacts with law and governance to drive institutional reform, enhance public welfare, and ensure accountability is essential to advancing the journal’s mission of bridging theory and practice.
We are pleased to announce this Special Issue: “Evidence-Based Public Policy: Design, Implementation, and Legal-Governance Alignment in Global and National Contexts”. This thematic focus prioritizes the public policy core of the journal’s mandate, inviting interdisciplinary research that examines the full lifecycle of public policy—from evidence-based design and legal alignment to implementation challenges, institutional adaptation, and impact evaluation. We seek contributions that unpack the dynamic interactions between policy, law, and governance, offering practical insights for policymakers, practitioners, and scholars.
Policy experts, legal scholars, governance researchers, and practitioners from public administration, political science, law, international relations, and related fields are invited to submit original research articles, systematic reviews, and perspective pieces.
